[font=Verdana]  I am Michael, but you can call me Gaucho; some of you may have encountered me 'elsewhere' but I'd just like to make a quick and simple post here to introduce myself and say how pleased I am to be here.
I am 49 (though I feel about 18) and have a 30+ year history of use and ABuse of various substances, mostly opiates and benzodiazepines. Daddy was a doctor and I read all the medical journals from the age of 8, but it wasn't till I was 12 that I found where he kept his case at nights... those were the days when GPs actually carried diamorphine, morphine, barbiturates, benzos and other similar things around with them - now it would be far too dangerous for them.
Last year I spent GB£18,000 on a six-week detox and rehab; I will NOT say that it wasn't a success because I am now using very few drugs; only what I'm prescribed (OxyContin, Xanax) and the very occasional (like tonight) taste of smack and a little overdoing of the benzos, mixing them rather than sticking solely to the Xanax. So what's wrong with enjoying an evening every now and then? After all, it's only less than a gramme of skag and some weaker benzos (diazepam, bromazepam and clonazepam) on top of the Xanax, of which I get a mere 3mg/day anyway. I intend to finish the night with 15mg Flormidal (midazolam) so that I'm sleeping well and no hangover effect tomorrow. You know, I'm getting to prefer midazolam to flunitrazepam (Rohypnol, Hypnodorm). It's cleaner and stronger and leaves you fresh next day.
You will all hear more about me soon enough, but for the meantime, may I say HELLO and glad to be here. Maybe I'll make a few friends. I am no longer in the selling business so have no fears about what I post, within the rules of course!
